I hold HDFC Bank Credit Card from Late 2006. After your valuable advise on getting credit report, I paid a sum of Rs 142 to CIBIL by DD and got my Credit Report. I found this discrepancy in reporting by HDFC Bank’s Credit Card division to CIBIL. They have not reported my prompt payment status to CIBIL in 2007. CIBIL mines consumer payment data for 36 months and hence I am at a Loss despite having an impeccable paying track record.
Now who is responsible for this ? I have raised an issue with CIBIL to request the data from HDFC Bank and warn them to report data accurately. I will keep you informed about the development.
